Talk at CIPM Conference to Focus on Lean Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing

TXM China Consulting Director, Justin Tao, has been invited to talk about at the Conference sessions being held as part of the 45th China International Pharmaceutical Machinery Exhibition (CIPM) in Qingdao in April. Justin’s talk on Lean pharmaceuticals manufacturing will be part of the opening day of the conference on 25 April 2013. Visit the official website of the CIPM Exhibition to find out more.

Justin will talk about how lean manufacturing approaches can help address many of the operational and supply chain issues facing Chinese Pharmaceutical Manufacturers. In particular, Justin will explain how lean can complement GMP standards by drawing direct parallels between the key principles of lean and the elements of GMP. This talk will build on the past successful lean and GMP workshops run by TXM for the ISPE.  It also is based on TXM’s extensive experience of Pharmaceuticals and other process manufacturing industries such as food, packaging, chemicals, and coatings.

Justin has over a decade of experience in lean manufacturing, is actively involved with the International Lean Enterprise Institute through Lean Enterprise China and has translated a number of lean texts including the seminal text of lean policy deployment (Hoshin Kanri), “Getting the Right Things Done” by Pascal Denis. Justin’s experience ranges across a huge range of industries including automotive, aerospace, electronics, food, packaging, and pharmaceuticals.
