Justin has seen many changes at TXM Lean Solutions in his 10 years with the company. Justin started work as a consultant at TXM in China working closely with Tim McLean, TXM Managing Director. After one year in the role Justin rose to become the Consulting Director for TXM in China as the business grew in this part of the region. In this role, Justin was responsible for sales, coaching consultants and developing the Chinese office team.
In China, Justin had the privilege of working with many iconic global companies in implementing Lean programs, including DMG Mori, Saint Gobain, Sony, Philips, AstraZeneca, Beckers, Sandvik, and Festo. His successfully Lean case in Sony was collected in Learning to See and Lean Practices in China II. Justin also translated some Lean masterpieces into Chinese, including the Machine that Changed World, Lean Solutions and Getting the Right Things Done.
In December 2013, Justin came to Australia and for a few weeks travelled around Australia. “The blue skies, fresh air, spacious houses and cozy lifetyle are important to me. This is all part of the good life here” says Justin.
In 2015 Justin came to Australia with sponsorship from TXM. Justin started working on improving TXM consulting material and standardising it to become known as the TXM Pathway. He has worked on many projects in Australia, but the one that stands out is his work with Olam Edible Nuts where he established a Lean maintenance structure across the whole of the organisation leading to operational efficiency and greater output of its nut production.
In 2019 Justin received his Australian citizenship and joined the land of the “free living”. Justin likes the feeling of having a “free mindset”, “ where everyone can live their own life in Australia and enjoy life”.
Travelling and adventures are Justin’s passions, his dream is to visit 100 countries in his life time. He has already been to 40 countries so far. He enjoys the travelling experience and seeing the world with his own eyes and body, not experiencing it through the news or social media.
Justin remains grateful to TXM as he says “It is like a family to him and it has changed his life, giving him a more positive and balanced life”.
