Fernas steps into the national leadership position following a highly successful tenure as State Manager for Queensland, where he played a pivotal role in driving operational improvements, client engagement, and expanding TXM’s footprint within the state’s dynamic manufacturing sector.
A Track Record of Industry Excellence
Fernas brings a wealth of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and business development to his new national mandate. Holding a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a specialisation in Design and Production, he began his career at Arabian Cement, gaining valuable foundational insights into the manufacturing, maintenance, and efficiency space.
Since relocating to Australia in 2018, Fernas has built robust industry relationships. He spent time in the HVAC sector with OEMs such as Air Change Australia and Temperzone, collaborating closely with contractors and design consultancies. In 2022, he took on a regional role at Central Innovation, assisting manufacturers in streamlining their workflows using Industry 4.0 solutions, including CAD, data management, and simulation.
During his time as Queensland State Manager for TXM, Fernas leveraged this diverse background to deliver tailored, transformative solutions to clients, helping them navigate complex operational challenges.
Driving Lean Transformation Nationwide
In his expanded role as National Business Manager, Fernas will oversee TXM’s business development and client strategy across Australia. He will work closely with TXM’s national team including Managing Director Tim McLean and Consulting Director Anthony Clyne to accelerate the company’s growth and ensure top-tier service delivery.
His promotion underscores TXM’s commitment to fostering internal talent and providing clients with practical business leaders who have a deep, hands-on understanding of what it takes to achieve operational excellence. Fernas is known for a people-centric approach, focusing on building long-term partnerships grounded in trust, mutual success, and sustainable business improvement.
