Our NSW Manufacturing Excellence Forum (this name is being changed), held at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), brought together industry leaders and innovators for a day of insightful talks and networking. The event attracted a diverse group of manufacturers from across New South Wales, all eager to share their expertise and explore new opportunities in the sector.
Attendees were treated to keynote presentations from leading companies in Australian manufacturing, including Street Furniture Australia, Cochlear, and ResMed, each offering valuable insights into how lean manufacturing has helped their businesses grow and improve.
The forum featured a range of speakers, with presentations by prominent figures such as Professor Roy Green, Brent Johnstone, Timothy McLean, Paula Obeid-Green, Christopher Morgan, David Martin, and Adam Alamade. Their talks covered a variety of topics, highlighting the importance of innovation, operational excellence, and the future of manufacturing in NSW and Australia.
The event was made possible with the generous support of sponsors ELF Automation and OFS, both of whom are dedicated to advancing manufacturing and operational excellence across Australia.
Looking ahead, organisers plan to host similar forums around the country, aiming to engage with more manufacturers nationwide. The big question now is: Where else should we hold events?
Stay tuned for more information on an upcoming event in Western Australia and opportunities to participate.
