What Is It?
The course is internationally recognised and accredited by global auditing body, Exemplar Global. This gives you the peace of mind that your course meets international standards. You will receive a certification and your achievement will be recorded in the Exemplar Global database so you can verify your qualification at any time in the future.
TXM is one of a handful of providers world-wide who can coach and accredit your people as Lean Experts against the competencies in the ISO 18404 standard.
The Lean Expert Course will certify you to international standards providing you with a career advantage. The course is designed to go beyond the basics of the Lean Methodology and teach in-depth comprehensive knowledge of its two guiding principles of Continuous Improvement and Respect for People.
It coaches the skills of an initiator of Process Improvement and Lean Implementation. The course combines a mix of theory, practical activities and project work to encompass every facet of the Lean Methodology. Our ISO 18404 Lean Practitioner course provides a similar level of rigour and responsibility to that expected of a Six Sigma Black Belt*, with a focus on Lean tools and thinking.
Each module is a balance between theory and project work to have you walking in the footsteps of a Lean Expert. If you are a seasoned Lean professional you can be assessed by your body of work and can be accredited without completing the modules.
Note: This course is not a Six Sigma Black Belt certification, but provides a comparable level of continuous improvement capability in the Lean domain.
How Long Will It Take?
The delivery of the course is completely flexible with face-to-face delivery of 32 course work hours & 32 assessment hours or self-paced learning options available (Coming Soon).
Once commenced you have one year to complete all modules, tests and submit your project work to TXM for assessment and certification as a Lean Expert.

TXM has three flexible delivery options to ensure that you can complete the course in way that best suits you.
Face-to-Face Online Individual
TXM will be running regular public ISO 18404 courses. These will be delivered face-to-face online. We will be running these courses at regular intervals.
$6000 per person plus applicable taxes. Includes course material, all coaching sessions, assessment and certification.
Learning Team Online 2 – 4 People
TXM has launched an online learning platform to enable you to complete the Lean Practitioner course at your own pace. You will not be on your own completely as every participant will be able to access personalised 1-on-1 online development sessions with a TXM Lean Consultant to answer any questions or issues you might face.
$5000 per person plus applicable taxes. Includes course material, all coaching sessions, assessment and certification.
In-House Program Face-to-face 8 – 12 People
If you are a business leader looking to develop the Lean skills within your team, TXM can offer the ISO 18404 Lean Practitioner/Lean Expert as an in-house course delivered at your business. This option offers significant savings.
